As part of the Interactive Storytelling Architecture for Training (ISAT) project, my work revolves around the design and implementation of the Scribe authoring tool. Scribe is a subcomponent of ISAT that provides a graphical means to authoring story content. It provides a visual representation of the story world and narrative content that allows non-programmers (e.g. subject matter experts) to encode story content without having to have programming skills. Understanding how to graphically provide users with the information they need while using Scribe is the main focus of my work.
