The Digital Tabletop is a group I’m affilated with that spans both Georgia Tech and Michigan State. We play different board games each week and discuss how the affordances of board games differ from those of digital games. We have played games like: the Starcraft boardgame, Munchkin, Doom, Settlers, etc. We try to look at a spectrum of games, from simple one player card games to large, take 10 hours to play, games.
